We are MDC
We operate in the energy sector, with a focus on biomethane and natural gas, contributing to the energy transition agenda.
At MDC, we dedicate our energy to developing sustainable businesses.
Pioneers in biomethane production and the expansion of natural gas across Brazil.

One of MDC’s key differentiators is its regulatory and commercial expertise in complex renewable energy projects.
Since 2006, MDC has been committed to providing sustainable energy solutions to its clients.
We are at the forefront of the low-carbon economy, working with energy sources such as natural gas – a transition fuel with a lower carbon footprint – and biomethane, one of the most sustainable biofuels on the market. Through the integrated operations of three subsidiaries – CDGN, Ecometano, and ERB – we offer a broad portfolio of long-term sustainable energy solutions to corporate clients undergoing the energy transition. We are the right partner to support your business in implementing sustainable energy projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
All of the company’s business is developed based on the sustainability tripod – economic, social-environmental, and governance. Through the integration of our business lines, MDC is able to offer low-carbon fuel solutions that are competitive in price and customized to client needs.
Our business lines contribute to the energy transition.
Learn more about the products we offer to our clients:

Low carbon in our business strategy:
MDC works directly with low-carbon fuels. Thus, sustainability is at the core of the company.
Today, 100% of the energy delivered to our clients comes from sustainable sources. In this way, our core business directly contributes to the transition to a low-carbon economy, which is being experienced worldwide and accelerated by the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) agenda.
Reliability in operations
Our focus is on customer service and the commitment to providing sustainable energy aligned with the purpose of each partner.
To achieve this, the company invests in technology and reliability, ensuring high-quality standards in services and operation monitoring through a control center that manages the entire supply chain online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Of the six biomethane plants authorized to operate and market gas in Brazil, three are MDC projects, and they have the best efficiency rates among the units in operation in the country.
MDC’s pioneering projects have contributed to the legislation of biomethane in the country. Today, we are one of the largest players in road distribution of Natural Gas and Biomethane in the Brazilian market.
When it comes to safety, it is an uncompromising value for MDC. We understand that operational excellence is only possible with safety. Therefore, we adopt the best safety practices in our offices and operational units, ensuring the reliability of operations and delivering quality to end customers.
